Woman Charged with DUI After Crashing Car into Church

A 23 year-old woman was recently charged with a DUI after she crashed her car into the basement of a church.

The woman was driving before sunrise on a Sunday morning when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle narrowly missed hitting a pole and slid down an embankment. It finally stopped after hitting a tree and crashing into the church.

The woman was not seriously injured and is facing several charges of endangerment and driving under the influence.
