A Troy man was found guilty Wednesday of sexually abusing two boys a year ago.

According to court documents, a jury returned guilty verdict against 63 year-old Lee Lashway for first-degree predatory sexual assault of a child, which is a felony. Lashway was also found guilty of two misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child. He is facing 25 years to life in prison. He will be sentenced in two weeks.

The incidents of assault occurred between June and October 2009 at Lashway’s home and involved boys who were 4 and 7 at that time, according to the indictment.  Lashway’s attorney, William Roberts, maintained his client’s innocence and claimed his accuser was seeking retribution against him. The older boy, now 8, testified for the prosecution.

Lashway had a previous conviction in Massachusetts for sexually abusing children in 1995.
