Suspected bank robber being held on $25,000 cash bail

A 22-year-old who was charged with robbing the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

According to reports, the alleged robber entered the building with a note saying that he had a bomb and that this was a robbery. He slipped the note to a teller when he approached the area. He was arrested three days later after police recognized him from the surveillance videos at the bank.

The suspect has been arrested numerous times in the past on charges spanning from drug possession to attempted robbery. He will be in court on December 9 to deal with a drug possession charge and on December 12 he will once again appear in court to discuss the burglary case.
