Man on Cape Cod’s Most Wanted List died years ago

A man on the Cape Cod State Probation Department’s list of the 10 most wanted individuals in the area has been dead for numerous years.

The state police were investigating one of the men on the list, a man who would be 71-years-old today, and while talking to his sister, they learned of his passing in 2002. Barnstable police were seeking the man for two counts of battery on a child and indecent assault that occurred at two separate times.

The man had been in a Mexican prison serving time for previous crimes he had committed. Shortly after his release in 2002, the man died. The death was never reported to Social Security and therefore the Cape Cod police never learned of his passing.
