Cape Cod filmmaker, Daniel Adams, has been indicted on fraud charges stemming from $4.7 million in film tax credits that he is accused of defrauding from the state. Adams received that money while filming two separate movies in Cape Cod.

A grand jury indicted Adams on several charges including larceny over $250 and making a false claim against the state. He is said to have stated exaggerated expenses for the two movies, ” The Golden Boys,” and “The Lightkeepers.” These false claims allowed him to collect an additional $4.7 million in tax credits.

Adams is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
