A Dennisport man and a South Yarmouth woman were arrested in Cape Cod Tuesday on drug distribution charges.

According to officials with the Massachusetts State Police, troopers arrived at a home on Upper County Road shortly after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to serve a warrant to 39 year-old Leif Dickey for allegedly driving a vehicle with a suspended license. Troopers were let inside the residence and allegedly found heroin “laid out, ready to go,” a spokesman said.

According to police, 46 year-old Charlene Thompson was arrested and charged with heroin possession with the intent to distribute. Dickey was not inside the house, but was spotted driving by the home after Thompson’s arrest, police said. He was arrested and heroin was found in his vehicle, according to a spokesman.

Dickey was charged with heroin possession with the intent to distribute.

Thompson and Dickey are expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Orleans District Court.
