A Boston man was arrested for drunk driving in Cape Cod Sunday.

According to officials with the Cape Cod Police Department, 67 year-old Petere Black was arrested after a two-vehicle accident that occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Route 6 near the Truro transfer station. Police say the driver of the other vehicle was transported by ground ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not described as life-threatening.

According to the accident report, Black was charged with operating while under the influence of alcohol, operating to endanger, and failure to stay within marked lanes. He was later released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans District Court Wednesday.

Traffic was slowed and diverted from the accident in its aftermath, police said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
