Estella Warren Arrested for Drunk Driving

Actress Estella Warren was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

According to officials with the Los Angeles Police Department, Warren was arrested shortly before midnight on Monday. Police say Warren was driving a Toyota Prius in downtown Los Angeles when she collided with three parked cars. Warren drove away from the scene of the accident and was apprehended by police a short time later, authorities said.

Warren was arrested on charges of driving under the influence. She was also charged with resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident. She was also charged with felony escape after she attempted to run out of the police station.

Woman Charged with Drug Crimes in Cape Cod

A Cape Cod woman was arrested on drug charges Wednesday afternoon.

According to Cape Cod Police Department officials, 29 year-old Elana M. Rice was arrested at the Cape Cod Vacation Condos shortly after 3:30 p.m. for possession of a class A drug and possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute. Court documents show Rice was in possession of heroin and cocaine.

Police learned Rice had an active warrant for her arrest in Orleans and began surveillance at the condos. After seeing her leave the motel, police conducted a motor vehicle stop and noticed Rice making adjustments with her hand in the area of her waist in an “elusive manner,” according to the arrest report. A search of the car uncovered a hypodermic needle filled with drugs.

Rice pleaded not guilty to charges in Barnstable First District Court on Thursday.

Man Arrested in Cape Cod on Felony Charges

A man was arrested in Cape Cod Wednesday and charged with assault.

According to officials with the Yarmouth Police Department, a K-9 patrol officer responded to the Cape Cod Vacation Condos shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday where two women said a man had just broken into their room and assaulted them. Police say when they encountered the man he provided them with a fake ID, leading police to discover there was a restraining order banning him from the motel as well as three outstanding arrest warrants for violent felonies.

According to the arrest report, when police attempted to arrest the suspect, he violently resisted and ran away. Officers tracked the suspect through heavy brush. After approximately 10 minutes, the K-9 team located the suspect hiding under a pile of leaves. The man was subsequently Tasered and arrested.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Cape Cod

Two Cape Cod residents were arrested on drug charges Sunday.

According to officials with the Barnstable Police Department, a three-month-long investigation culminated with the arrests of 67 year-old Robert Sellew and 30 year-old Crystal Polydores. Police received a tip that Sellew would be bringing cocaine to Cape Cod on May 1.

Police began surveillance of Sellew at the Sagamore Bridge. Officers followed Sellew’s white Chevy Lumina from the bridge until it reached Main Street in Cotuit and then conducted a motor vehicle stop shortly after 7:00 p.m.

Police found three baggies of crack cocaine, worth about $500, hidden in a fishing rod that Sellew said belonged to him. Officers also discovered a small baggie of cocaine on Polydores. Sewell also had $600 cash in his possession, according to Barnstable Police Detective Lieutenant Balcom.
