Sentencing for a Massachusetts felon who is facing 45 years in prison for the sexual assault of a woman in 1988.
The man was convicted last year of first-degree sexual assault and first-degree kidnapping. The victim was a 20-year-old woman who let the man inside her house after he claimed he had car trouble. The man then put a knife sharpener to her neck and sexually assaulted her. The case left police stumped until 2005 when the police matched the man’s DNA to the case.
